Sumptuous food. All the dishes looked rich but were actually quite light. The gravlax toast and the seared scallops were very well balanced. The tagliolini was delicious. The apple dessert components worked together really well. We had a glass white wine, an Italian pinot grigio, which was well rounded, but also quite hollow. The service was friendly. The atmosphere struck a versatile balance between sophisticated and casual. Overall, at ~$122 for two people, this is a great option for dinner. Bravo is a delightful gastropub with impressive drinks. We had a reservation but were only able to get seats at the bar, which I didn’t mind since it gave us a view of the kitchen and easy access to chat about the food and drinks. However, the bar seating itself left something to be desired. Without a rail, your feet can feel like they’re dangling, and the stools aren’t particularly comfortable. That aside, the drinks were fantastic. From infused vodka to barrel-aged gin, the cocktails were exceptional—definitely a must for any cocktail enthusiast. If you’re an oyster fan, they offer a great selection of both Pacific and Atlantic varieties, giving you a nice mix of flavors from each coast. We opted for a selection of shared plates, including kale gnocchi, salmon gravlax, and Hokkaido scallops, which was a chilled scallop dish. Overall, Bravo made for a solid dining experience. Felt the food was good but wasn’t the feeling of “this is a place we must come back to”. The pasta was pretty good. We also had the king salmon and yellowtail, and the poached pear dessert. I felt the salmon slices to be rather small compared to some of the other pictures other diners have posted. Really noisy inside, I could barely hear my partner across from me. I wish there was something about the food that would want me to come back or have again. Kinda run of the mill.
