D'après les commentaires des clients, la cuisine chinoise est plutôt bonne. Un ragoût de porc cuit à la perfection est servi dans ce restaurant. Vous pouvez commander des pancakes délectables.

While searching for dim sum takeout, we stumbled upon Yuan Yuan which didn't have traditional dim sum but they had great Tian Jin food. Somehow we got sidetracked and the family dim sum meal was changed to this place instead. They had some great reviews. So why not give it a go? The order was for a hungry family of four. We ordered a good variety of the following items: #54 - Scallion pancake #153 - Braise pork sandwich #156 - Fried Dough #144 - Steam Pork Buns #122 - Shanghai noodle* #146 - Cabbage & pork buns* Overall we all were impressed by the quality and freshness of the food. Takeout was neatly packaged, ready to go. We would order from them again anytime! Great service.

Came here for lunch based on good reviews but was super disappointed.  Didn't like the food at all.  Ordered a braised pork sandwich and the meat was very dry, like pulled pork and there's hardly any sauce.   Ordered spare rib soup noodle but it's only average. Aldo ordered the Spring Onion Scramble Egg Wrap.  Spring onion taste wasn't strong enough.  It's just like an egg wrap.  Also the wrap was very thick and chewy, thus hard to pull apart.  Even my kids who love eggs and carbs (anything bun, bread) only took one bite and put it down. Definitely been to a better restaurant in Scarborough that serves the same kind of food.  Will not return.

For the longest time, I've always thought the location that Yuan Yuan currently occupies is some sort of Hakka Indian joint.  I guess I haven't been to this strip plaza for the longest time. Now that Ten Ichi is gone there's even less reason to come here. I stumbled onto Yuan Yuan on Yelp which had brought me back to this plaza. With a rating of 4.5 stars but a small sample size of 8 reviews, I walked into this place with some degree of skepticism. After my visit, I'd say that Yuan Yuan provides above average food while delivering huge value. I would definitely call this place a hidden gem. I dined solo ordering the Taiwanese nappa in a fried shrimp sauce and a braised pork bao. At $10.50 pre tax I got my dose of veggie and a stomach stuffing meal (the bao could be a snack if you are hungry or a light meal if you are not very hungry). The chef had exercised great timing when cooking the nappa. The texture was perfect where it was not too soft, nor too raw; It had the perfect amount of crunch. The sauce itself was a clear soup with a very slight sesame oil flavour.  The fried shrimp was a bit hard meaning that they weren't soaked in water long enough and that also prevented the dried seafood flavour to transfer to the sauce as well as it should. A slightly better stock could of enhanced the dish. But for $7.99, I got a pretty decent dish here. The braised pork bao was actually quite outstanding. The surface of the bao was slightly pan fried to give it a delicate crunch and the rest of the bao had the proper Chinese white bun texture. The braised pork was marinated perfectly. It had the right proportion of soy sauce, sugar, Shaoxing wine and sugar. One of the best I've tasted in recent times and better than most expensive places. My only criticism is the pork could use a better ratio of lean and fatty parts (a little more fat would be nice). A better cut of meat would of done the trick. But again at $2.50, no complaints. I'm definitely going back to try the steamed buns since they claim to be a Tian Jin restaurant. And steamed buns is by far the most famous Tian Jin dish. I don't generally upload photos but I noticed that no one had uploaded their menu, so check it out. Unfortunately I screwed up the last photo with the dim sum portion.
