Après une visite surprenante à Mississauga Central Library, prenez un repas à Yoyo's. Arrêtez-vous dans ce confectionary restaurant et essayez un yaourt glacé savoureux. Un personnel accueillant attend les clients tout au long de l'année.
Unable to wait, yet not willing to leave the vicinity until the desire for frozen yogurt had been satisfied, I suggested trying out a frozen yogurt place by the name of YoYo's. I had previously glazed over the name in earlier froyo spot searches, but was not entirely sure of the exact location.
After a great deal of confusion, and the unnecessary paying of parking, we managed to located the shop.
The shop was near empty except for a couple excitedly filling their cups to the brim. We were immediately greeted by a man I presume to be the owner.
"Have you guys been to YoYo's before?"
"Nope." ("But I've been to enough frozen yogurt places to know what I'm supposed to do.", I silently added.)
He then went on to explain the concept of self-serve frozen yogurt, enthusiastically directing our attention to the various topping choices and flavours available. This went on for a while, and throughout this, I mentally made a note to make my silent addition outspoken should such a circumstance re-occur.
I impatiently asked for sample cups, as they were not laid out neatly like Menchies or Yogurty's. The owner proceed to grab a few from a cupboard located at ground level, only to have the stack fall through as he closed its door. Noticing my intent glance at the bottle cap-sized cups sprawled on the wooden floor, he casually brushed it off saying "It's okay."
We tried the Red Velvet and Strawberry flavours, which both proved to be alright.
The frozen yogurt cups we ultimately walked out with, though, were not. Neither of the cups were full, yet both were over $5.00, approaching $6.00! In addition, none of the flavours were distinct after being placed in the same cup. But the worst part was definitely how the chocolate cookie from the toppings section was overly firm and stale. Ew.
I shall definitely be taking my business to pinkberry, or even Yogurty's (where I can use SPC!) next time.
