La cuisine fusion est bien préparée à ce restaurant. Un plateau de sushis cuit à la perfection est le plat le plus savoureux. Rien n'est mieux que d'essayer des pancakes savoureux.

I came here yesterday on a solo date and I must say that I'm very pleased with my decision. I must add that I've been to restaurants that have amazing sushi. Something about my experience at wasabi told me that I was in for a treat. From the moment I walked in, everything felt so personal. I didn't even order from the menu. My waiter started off by bringing me a tray containing different Gin bottles, and I decided to go with a single Malfy and pink tonic. He then asked me what I felt like eating and I said I'm just looking for something special and it's like he knew what I wanted. He recommended that I should have the Tiger vs Dragon split and then also go for the Dynamite. I finished all 16 pieces without any trouble. Each bite was so flavourful. Wasabi is one of a handful of places that I've given a 5/5 and rightfully so. I definitely recommend this place. The food is great, the employees are welcoming and friendly, and the decor is classy.

mouth watering sushi with excellent flavor combinations. Some of the items are pretty pricy but the portion sizes kind of make up for it

We had heard many amazing things about this restaurant and some friends of ours raved about the Oysters so my mom had been dying to go and try them.
We arrived there last night and I cannot complain about our waitress, however...
My Mom ordered oysters to start, but they were out of stock and apparently have been so for a few days. Disappointed, she then ordered the langoustine BUT this was out of stock too. She then settled for some other shellfish at a cost of R200 which she didn’t enjoy at all.
I had the halloumi for starter which was very nice!
For mains my mom had the duck specialty, which came with more of those cheap prawn chips rather than the actual dry duck. Safe to say that was disappointing too.
I ordered Calamari, but asked for no squid heads, like I always do at any restaurant. What I got was a very controlled portion of about 6 little tubes. When I asked why it was so small the waitress said she would call the manager. I waited about 7 minutes then continued to eat my food. The waitress finally arrived with the rest of my portion and the manager hiding behind her.
My boyfriend had sushi which he enjoyed and my brother a steak that was great, but woke up this morning with a very upset stomach.
Although the dessert menu looked appealing we decided to give it a miss for fear of disappointment.
Our over R2000 bill definitely wasn’t worth our experience.
