Universel is nice breakfast spot for those who are seeking for a not sophisticated place with good food and customer service.

You understand that Universel is a really hot spot because there is a busy atmosphere inside. But the staff is very professional and cope with crowds of people. The decor is simple and not annoying. So, it’s a good place to meet with friends, to have brunch before work, or even have a date.

We tried strawberry and hazelnut chocolate crepes, eggs Benedict, and delicious French toasts - all dishes are perfectly cooked and crepes have a good texture. We think it's the best restaurant for breakfast in downtown. Eggs and potatoes, as well as fruits on another plate, came out together. Bananas, grapes, pineapples, and blueberries came out. It was a full-fledged hollandaise sauce. The eggs were fluffy and the taste was a little sour.
