Terrible manager. Family order placed 740 pm on The Works website. Request for delivery to local hotel. 4 Door dash drivers showed up at restaurant and all were turned away. Called restaurant at 910 asking about our order. Manager called back at 915. Said it’s a Door Dash issue and refunded our order. No offer to continue the order, use another delivery service or compensate at all. Basically he said. Sorry it didn’t work out, have a nice night. That’s it. I drove to restaurant at 930. An employee called the same manager. For our inconvenience he offered to compensate us with 3 free beverages. Wow. An incredible $10 worth of savings on 3 drinks. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Service: 1

Honestly not sure why they shut down the works in Kitchener it was much fast, better tasting, and better service, I’ve been to this location twice in the past year and have been let down significantly both times. The most recent time we went it took 1 hour to receive two burgers which seems crazy to me but when prompted to the server she said this can happen there were 3 couples in the restaurant at the time one including us. My SO ‘s food was also cold by the time it finally got to us. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Group size: 3-4 people Wait time: Up to 10 min
