I wish I could try more dishes here, so 3-stars for now before I change my mind! If you haven't been here before, you're likely going to miss the door since there no signage, and looka dark from the outside (at night)  although it's next to a brightly lit gas station! We passed by it a few times before we realized and said one of those "oh,this is where it is"! So we found the entrance to this place and were nicely greeted and seated quickly with a reservation made in advance. This is such a humble place with great service & good sharable food! Tables are very small so we were afraid to order too much, and barely had room for our glass of water, especially when we sat in the front dining area which was o-k, but not super comfy and we had a good view of the kitchen and people walking in & out.  watching random people walk in & out became our entertainment while waiting for our food, Why? LOL some who were looking for their friends here had no clue where they were!! we only noticed this because most of them were on their phones asking where this place is and they're lost! There's a ballroom in the back for larger groups and it's SO hidden many would not have noticed it! Burrata pizza was what we came here for, and it did not disappoint!

Grand Elvis has a really fun vibe (music, interior design) and great service (friendly, knowledgeable, quick)... by the servers (that qualifier is important, but will get to that later). Unfortunately, the food though is hit and miss. - The standout was the burrata pizza. It had a firm base that held the loads of veggies they pile on. Expensive at $25 though for the portion size. - The much hyped banquet burger was a disappointment. Sure, the patty was juicy without being greasy, and there was a good amount of bacon and cheese. But no way is this the best burger in the city, especially at $21. It was good, not amazing. - We also upgraded the fries to truffle fries, and while the heaping of truffle was generous, the fries were overly salty. - The fried brussel sprouts were standard. Expensive at $12 for what you're getting. - The butterscotch pudding was a bit runny and not as flavorful as expected. Nowhere close to the awesome sundaes and desserts at Fet Zun (same owner). Which leads me to how the meal ended. We were done eating and were just finishing our tea when the owner came out with a tray of yummy looking cookies, which he went offering table-to-table. There were 5 tables in a row by the wall, with us in middle, and basically he went to the first 2 tables to offer them cookies, looked at us and passed our table, then went to the next 2 tables to offer them cookies as well. At first we thought, well maybe he skipped us because he thinks we haven't started our meal yet... but then overheard him saying "Dessert first!" to another table. So then we thought, well maybe he skipped us because he thinks we're done eating... but then see the table beside us is also done and has to-go containers all packed up. So why so obviously skip us then? I have my thoughts but that would be reckless speculation. What I will is, to so blatantly ignore a table in this manner is at the very least really awful service. Kinda ironic that the fun vibe at Grand Elvis was ruined by non-cookies that left a really bitter taste in our mouths. Never coming back here again.

Have to say there was nothing grand about the Grand Elvis. Sorry really loved Rose and Sons but can't say the same for this transition. Appetizers were good but our steak had no taste and to wait so long for this dish what a disappointment. Our waiter just did his job but never once asked how we were enjoying our dinner or paid us any attention. Anyway Mr. Rose will not be dining there anytime soon.
