Nous n’étions même pas assis et sans avoir le temps de consulter la carte, on nous recommande d’emblée une planche fromage charcuterie et deux verres de vin rouge : addition salée de 42 euros pour un simple apéritif. Wonderful experience at Terrazza 121! We had some trouble locating the entrance, as they were doing renovation to their first floor that removed the sign indicating their location, but they responded quickly to questions on WhatsApp and guided our party of six to the right spot! The ambiance is great, as the main seating is on a terrace with greenery and a roof that can be opened when the weather is good. They seated our group of six promptly, and one of the staff helped translate the menu for us--even accommodating my nut allergy by pointing out what could be adjusted to be nut-free. We spotted a party having a light lunch, and after asking the staff about their order, they told us it was a business lunch but they were willing to make the off-menu caprese for us as well. The spaghetti, pistachio pesto, and gnocchi were delicious! The spaghetti texture was toothsome, the gnocchi soft and pillowy, and the pistachio pesto excellent! The server even helped us cancel part of our order when we realized our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Worth a visit after touring the Villa Borghese!
