The new owners have no clue how to run a bar. The lack of cleanliness is atrocious and the smell of sewer is beyond gross. The food has gone downhill and they treat their staff poorly. They had a great Sunday open mic but it’s been replaced with pool tables. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Teddy's Bar & Grill is a warm and inviting spot that feels like a throwback to classic diners. The interior has cosy booths, dark wood paneling and plenty of natural light, creating a relaxed setting for a casual meal or drinks with friends. The menu focuses on hearty comfort food… I tried the beef dip sandwich and the turkey dinner and both were excellent. The beef dip featured tender roast beef piled high on a soft bun with a flavourful au jus for dipping while the turkey dinner came with generous slices of roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and rich gravy. Their homemade soups and salads make great starters and the poutine is indulgent with crisp fries and squeaky cheese curds. Portions are large and the value is outstanding. Service is friendly and attentive… the servers keep drinks topped up and check in often without being intrusive. The bar offers a good selection of local beers on tap, classic cocktails and a decent wine list. Desserts like the warm bread pudding and pies provide a sweet finish. Teddy's is perfect for families, couples or groups looking for satisfying meals in a laid back atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by for a taste of Edmonton's comfort food tradition. Staff are knowledgeable about allergies and can substitute items or adjust dishes to be celiac friendly and nut free upon request. Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid parking lot, Paid street parking, Valet, Paid parking garage Parking: Street parking is metered but there is also a paid lot and parkade across the street. The area can get busy on weekends so arrive early to find a spot. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is family friendly with a kids menu of smaller portions like chicken fingers, mini burgers, mac and cheese and grilled cheese. High chairs and booster seats are available and staff are patient and welcoming to families. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp at the entrance and the dining area is level with wide aisles. The washrooms are wheelchair accessible. Staff are accommodating for mobility aids.
