Les sushis sont bons mais rien d'extra. C'est comme une chaîne

I've been going to Sushiman for 5 years now. The same location, ordering the same sushirolls. Due to food allergies I order a la carte. The changes I make to the rolls, usually incur a 0.50$ charge per roll. Usually the homosaki rolls I order are about as thick as a Loonie, perhaps a toonie. Of course the filling is minimal, but at least the few oz of rice fill you up for a few minutes. Today I was feeling especially hungry. I called ahead and ordered 3 of my usual rolls. So that I would have 18 pieces. I arrived when I said I would. I waited in like for 10 minutes as the usual cashier was training a new one. I was then told their debit/credit machine was down and that I'd have to pay cash. I felt bad if I didn't take the order as it was a custom order, something they couldn't necessarily sell otherwise. I asked where the nearest ATM/Bank was, in the mall that they're located. After much discussion in another language, I was told I had to leave the mall, enter another mall nearby, descend a floor and get cash there. I ended up finding another ATM around the corner and using that. I returned for my food, and was told it was a $2.00 charge for the changes I'd made to my food (rather than the usual 0.50$ per roll, interesting). I wasn't going to argue, I was hungry. I took my food back to work, already late, and only then looked at my order. The rolls were the girth of a roll of nickels. The 18 pieces that I was given must have had less rice than 12 pieces usually would. I end spending 14.72$ for 3 veggie rolls, that had the total combined volume comparable to one slice of white sandwich bread. Needless to say, this place is slipping.

In a city full of restaurants, and being one of 4-5 sushi places accessible within that mall area itself, unfortunately the quantity was unacceptable, the price is inflated, the service was poor and demanding only cash after waiting in such a long line, is disappointing. I will not be returning.

There are numerous restaurants offering much better quality food, and I could go to an all you can eat, freshly prepared, full service sushi bar for only 5-10$ more.
