La carte des vins ravira tous les palais, tous les clients pourront trouver le vin qui leur plaira. Essayez un expresso délicieux ici. La bonne note de ce lieu serait impossible sans un personnel sympa. Un service décontracté est toujours un plaisir. Des plats délicieux à un prix bas sont offerts ici. Dans cet endroit, les visiteurs peuvent apprécier une atmosphère calme et un aménagement intérieur spectaculaire. There is better service at cactus club. Waiters should be able to pronounce the dishes. Atmosphere: lacking, was like sitting at a Starbucks or ikea. Dishes were meh, mostly butter and aguachile not very creative or new. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Ok I want to first say it is my third time going to published and prior I loved it. But tonight was a miss start to finish. Food -service attention to detail just wasn’t there. I appreciated the attempt of the manager to damage control the night. But the food has to do the talking. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I had some feelings about Published before I ever got there. In my (excellent, heavy, obsessive) restaurant research prior to visiting Vancouver, I'd found that Published seemed to be quite the heavyweight, so obviously I had to try for a reservation. I was able to get one, although I was confused by the way the reservation confirmation email seemed to say that the restaurant couldn't make any modifications to the menu. I'm pescatarian and so was my dining partner, so this was a problem. I emailed the restaurant and got a reply back a few days later saying that since the menu was so seafood forward, the chef was willing to do a pescatarian menu to accommodate us. While I was very happy about this, I felt a twinge of frustration that other expensive gastronomy restaurants, even on the World's Best list, were perfectly able to accommodate a pescatarian menu without my having to email them. That said, though, once that was taken care of, the experience itself at the restaurant was excellent. The food was all high notes without a single course disappointing. The nonalcoholic cocktail list was long and deeply creative. The No Anesthesia drink was absolutely the best nonalcoholic cocktail I have ever tried. Peanut sauce in a drink? Yes. Wow. My only note about the service was that our primary server who was with us for about 2/3 of the night was relieved by another server who didn't have the same level of enthusiasm or energy or investment, it seemed. Where the first server had enjoyed talking about the dishes and cocktails, the second seemed more reserved and simply a deliverer of the information as necessary. It would have been great to have the first server the whole way through, but alas. Not enough to amend my view of the restaurant, however. I recommend Published on Main wholeheartedly, and hope to return with more friends in tow. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
