I had a shift near the restaurant yesterday and the weather was cold and rainy. I was feeling sick and had a short 30 min lunch break. I really was not in the mood for junk or bakery stuff, and wanted warm comfort food on such a cold day. I went in and asked for the specialty pho, they knew I was in a rush and the food was delivered before I even take off my jacket! The place is family owned, or at least it seemed like it, as soon as I walked in, I saw a long table and everyone was having lunch together, it felt cozy and sweet, someone got up fast and came to my service. Food was yummy, and the place is amazing. 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Is there such a thing as a portion being too big?? It sounds like a strange complaint, but I would have preferred smaller portion sizes with lower prices in order to taste more dishes and try more things. Food waste isn’t ideal and Noodle soup isn’t exactly something that can be packed up and enjoyed the next day without the noodles getting soft and mushy. Other than this, the beef stew and lemongrass chicken dishes we ordered were tasty and the service was great. My new favourite vietnamese spot in Surrey Central/King George area. The ambience is very nice and the place is very clean. Service is also prompt and staff are very friendly. highly recommend the satay pho and rice plates especially the grilled pork chops!
