Dommage.
For $15.50 I ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari as my main. I started with Hot and Sour Soup, which was a decent rendition. Then on to Spring Rolls, which was served as two small rolls. Less oily than others I had tried recently. Next was the Calamari, which was presented in an interesting way: a few pieces were skewered upright in the middle, giving the plate a more pronounced 3-D shape. Some of the calamari was a little bit overdone, but the flavour was nice.
For dessert I was offered a choice of fried bananas (not a fan of bananas) or a cookie. I chose the latter, which was a simple, tasty, house made sugar cookie, accompanied by the ubiquitous fortune cookie.
The restaurant was clean, neat and tidy, with white tablecloths. Service was very good.
