My partner and I celebrated our second anniversary with a dinner at North 54, an upscale dining spot we’d been for our 1st anniversary as well —and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone: warm lighting, elegant decor, and just the right touch of intimacy for a special occasion. The staff greeted us with a level of professionalism and warmth that instantly made us feel welcomed and cared for. We began our meal with the calamari, which was nothing short of outstanding—crispy, tender, and paired with a tangy aioli that elevated every bite. It was the perfect start and left us excited for what was to come. For mains, we ordered the pork belly pasta and the steak dinner. The pasta was beautifully prepared, with rich flavors and a silky sauce that showcased real culinary technique. However, it just didn’t quite suit our personal tastes. When we mentioned this casually to our server—not as a complaint, but more as feedback—what happened next truly impressed us. Without hesitation, the server graciously acknowledged our thoughts and, to our surprise, offered a complimentary tiramisu to end the meal. It was a thoughtful gesture that spoke volumes about the restaurant’s commitment to guest satisfaction. And let me say: the tiramisu was divine—creamy, balanced, and the perfect sweet note to close the evening.
