coffee was meh, pork liver in congee was so soft and tender, the freshly fried hk style french toast was pretty good too, i don’t know if the have peanut butter inside originally but still better to mention it while placing order Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Toast

Been a customer over 15 years pretty well daily, stopped going when it opens at 9am instead of the usual 8am…..bye bye to my breakfast !

Ming's Noodle Cafe has been a long time staple in the local Scarborough/Milliken community for I believe at least 2 decades now. They have satisfied several appetites with their classic Cantonese and HK Diner flavours you would find in Hong Kong. Throughout my high school days, my friend always kept bringing up Ming's as his family's go-to spot and I never knew why until a few months ago.I visited Ming's for a quick dinner with my family and I was very impressed with their humble dishes packing loads of flavour. Ming's has a few staples on their menu that they are known for, but one of my favourites has to be their Baked Portuguese Beef Brisket on Rice. Traditionally, this Macanese dish is done with chicken or porkchop, but who knew that tender beef brisket would pair nicely with curry-based suace. The beef brisket was tender and succulent which pairs very nicely with the fried rice. The sauce is perfectly seasoned and has the right amount of creaminess to add a soothing touch in every spoonful.The Orange Peel Duck Leg on Rice was very pleasant in taste. The broth brought the duck leg meat, vegetables and noodles all together for a harmonious experience for something as simple as noodles in soup.Overall, after seieng many HK diners open and close throughout the years in Toronto, there is a reason Ming's has remained open for all this time. I can't wait to go back soon to sample their other staples on their menu!
