Best shawarma in the area for sure. Meat tastes really good so they don’t need to cover it with tons of garlic sauce like most places do. Great selection of rice and breads too! Service: Dine in Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Mixed Shawarma

4.9 rating on Google reviews? I got to check it out! A nearby family-owned Lebanese place called Mayyas Express at Victoria Park and Sheppard (2555 Victoria Park Ave). I ordered a chicken shawarma for Ca$8.99. Wow! Was it incredible! Juicy and delicious. Loaded with tender chicken, veggies, herbs, pickles, hummus and garlic sauce. Customized (I didn't want fries inside that they advertised). Savored every bite. Ready in 3 min - while I was talking to the manager, the girl already threw the chicken on the grill to warm it up. Complimentary coffee (didn't try) and a bottle of water. Highly recommend if you are in the hood! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
