Brilliant spot for some of the most delicious pizzas we have had. Other dishes are equally appetizing. Staff friendly and attentive. Often grab a pizza, in conjunction to my sushi order next door, as the bf is not a lover of sushi...... I know if he I lay knew what he is missing out in!
This cafe always looks deserted .... But once i walked in it was packed !!! Lots to choose from on the menu . The chocolate and pear crumble is to dieeeeee for !!! I would definitely go back for it over and over again . Every plate has a perfect touch to it . Service was quick and efficient . It has an outside area , smoking area and a really unique layout. Its good for a "tea " or sweet tooth outing .
Madisons Cafe is in a busy little centre on Atterbury Road. Tucked away at the end but still visible. Great potential I think. The drinks menu is enticing, especially on a warm autumn afternoon in Pretoria. I had a Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger Beer with lots of ice and a nice kick.
The let down was Joseph's Apfel Strudel. Baked on the premises, the waitress assured me. But this one was clearly reheated from frozen in the microwave. Dryish filling and soggy pastry. It could have been so nice! They even have a pizza oven. Service was friendly.
