Juste à côté du Mas des agriculteurs, nous sommes arrivés vers la fin du service, mais accueillis et servis avec le sourire. Parking: Vous trouvez des produits(comme de l'huile d'olive) au Mas des agriculteurs en face . We have already been here 4 times, never disappointed by the cuisine, and again this evening for the unique meal on January 31 (86th/person 5 courses + canapes and sweets, excluding drinks) the menu was beautiful. But unfortunately for a meal of 31 the atmosphere was not there, nor the service. Problem: I am pregnant (no scallop carpaccio and no cream cheese), and when booking I specified this by telephone, then when depositing my reservation check too. The team present that day went to the kitchen to ask if it was possible to modify certain dishes: yes no problem, we will change the starter and the cheese. I leave feeling confident. Reservation at 8:30 p.m. I will repeat this when I arrive. The manager is not aware, and it poses a problem to change, nothing has been reported to him. I get annoyed and explain that I asked 3 times before booking, and that it wasn't a problem, and that at the price of the menu I would have abstained if it wasn't possible... I ended up being offered cooked scallops, but no cheese (the price will be reduced). Yes it's better than nothing but very frustrating...especially that evening!! The meal goes off without a hitch, we enjoy ourselves despite everything, but when it's time for cheese it's 10:50 p.m.... to go until 12 a.m. even if you eat slowly will take a long time. And from there, we just had the impression that the end of the meal was being sent to us. Besides, the group behind us: “if this continues, we’re going to wish each other a Happy New Year in the parking lot.” More than half of the room was already empty. After the excellent dessert, they brought us the sweets directly, without saying anything to us (probably an end-of-meal riddle), we were just offered a coffee, no infusion, no cocktail or glass of champagne (off the menu , a shame for those who drink alcohol, and offered at all the restaurants that we had already visited on these dates beforehand, for a celebration day a glass of champagne for dessert is the least we can do). In short, at 11:15 p.m. the meal is finished... Should we wait until midnight in the false atmosphere of an ordinary evening's dinner? Is it because tomorrow there is another service, and we don't want to drag on setting it up...? So the team doesn't want to finish late? In short, we live close to the restaurant, and at 11:30 p.m. we were home... very disappointed by such a festive meal atmosphere. At the price of the menu, we really expected something else, and living nearby, we are potentially regular customers...well more for festive evenings, that's for sure, a shame, yet it's still just as good . And the menu presented, despite the lack of a glass of champagne at the end of the meal, was promising, and we have nothing to say about the cuisine and the presentation which are up to par. However, despite the initial oversight of not having had the necessary instructions in due time, we have tried to correct as best as possible what you recognize in your message. Fortunately, everything else on the menu seemed to satisfy you as did the entire room. Regarding your expectations regarding the length of the evening, it is true that most guests come looking for a prolonged evening without any particular entertainment. A meal that starts at 8:30 p.m., it seems difficult to keep it going until midnight at the risk of there being too long a wait between courses, something which can disturb a certain number of customers. Referring to the group of people seated behind you that evening, know that they were part of the end-of-the-evening tables because one of them was from the management's family. As for the suggestions to be made at the end of a meal, as you point out, in principle this is not our policy because it can be interpreted as a way of encouraging consumption. The customer with this desire has no problem asking us. As usual for more than twenty-five years, the good wishes were shared with more than half of the room and the evening ended at more than one thirty in the morning, so far from it our idea of save for the next day.
