I came with my partner once on a bank holiday, the place was half full but the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. We had a couple of coffees, managed to do some work and hoped to have found a place we could come often to enjoy and work - as Bari has NO OFFERS of places for people working remotely. However when coming back on Monday, in August, despite place being empty, the young fella at the counter wasn’t welcoming at all. We had our coffee on arrival and after about 1 hour he approached us asking if we needed anything else. I said no but asked for a fresh juice, his response was: WE ONLY HAVE ORANGE BUT WE ARW TRYING TO AVOID PEOPLE HERE THAT COME TO STUDY! I said: I am here consuming, asked for juice and you answered basically telling me that I am not welcome to stay? I explained that was rude and unnecessary, specifically because it was empty! He insisted, I asked for the menu, they served as soon as possible, had to change my glass as it was smelling badly, and after that.they never looked at us again! I had to stand up and bring my plates to the counter. A shame for the lack of customer service skills, as the place is cool and food was alright. We won’t be back!

Nice little selection of English books, although you have to pay top dollar for them as you would for any new books these days.

I'm not from Bari even though I've lived there for some time now, I'm a sommelier and I went to this bookshop for the first time for the blind tasting. Beautiful initiative, inclusive and denotes high sensitivity, you can see that in Liberrima they are "ahead" in everything. Bookshop with well-stocked wine shop, also excellent for pleasant aperitifs. Kindness to be praised by Marco, the wine shop sommelier manager, and the chef who always pampered us in a very pleasant evening. I would like to point out to everyone this gem in the heart of Bari, go there without delay. Thank you very much to the guys who work there, kindness is priceless and you are wonderful.
