From the moment we started arranging things, until the moment we left the restaurant, Catalina was nothing but a great event manager and host, she made sure that all questions were answered, and we’re taken care of and looked after at all times. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a lively and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the rich culinary journey that awaits. The food is outstanding, every dish bursts with authentic Laotian flavors, crafted with fresh ingredients and a masterful touch. Their signature dishes, like curries and fish steamed in banana leaves, are an absolute must-try, and the spice levels are just right to awaken your taste buds. The service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always happy to share recommendations or a bit about the culture and ingredients behind the dishes. Had a wonderful date night here with my partner. It was a busy evening, but we were lucky to find seats at the bar without a reservation. We ordered the Tapioca Dumplings ($17), Drunken Noodles ($23), and Caramelized Braised Pork Belly with Rice ($25). The chili served with the tapioca dumplings was super spicy, and our server was so thoughtful that she offered me a free Thai milk tea to cool down. I loved the level of spice! It was my first time trying tapioca dumplings as a savory dish, and it was a unique experience. The Drunken Noodles were the highlight of the night—authentic and flavorful, just like the ones I had in Bangkok. The caramelized braised pork belly was incredibly tender and paired perfectly with rice—I needed extra to soak up all the rich flavors! I enjoyed both the food and atmosphere here. Highly recommend this spot for a romantic date night or a dinner gathering with small group of friends. I had a truly wonderful night with Ms. Taylor at Lao Lao Bar. The restaurant is a beautiful piece of art, with a relaxing, cozy, and inviting ambiance. The service was excellent - friendly, attentive, and very warm. The food was amazing, especially the drunken noodles with shrimp, which was my favorite. I also enjoyed the Tom Yum soup. The BBQ pork skewers were exquisite, and the fresh rolls were also amazing. I can't wait to return for round 2 and spice up those beautiful drunken noodles.
