Loved the food, atmosphere and the staff were nice. I ordered a cocktail and it was really delicious and trendy with a slice of candy And a thin slice of lemon. Food was great, had some sushi and chicken karaage. My friends and I had a great time. I would definitely go back.

Kiu Japanese Restaurant - Udon craving satisfied. Location: 169 Enterprise Blvd 2nd Floor, Markham, ON L6G 0E7 Item(s) ordered: Jumbo Shrimp Tempura Udon Price: $24.00 CAD Rating: 10/10 The dish came with 2 large shrimp tempuras. They were well-fried and not greasy. The soup had a light flavour which paired well with the chewy udon noodles. It really hit the spot after a day of hiking. Snow Crab and Shrimp Price: $18.00 CAD Rating: 10/10 I'll admit that I'm not the biggest fan of torched sushi. However, the creamy sauce paired well with the fresh crab and didn't overwhelm the taste. It's a simple, well-made dish and I don't have any constructive criticism to provide. Overall, this is my second time at Kiu and once again I've enjoyed my experience. Kiu is on the expensive side but makes up for it with the atmosphere and service. The servers are always attentive and pleasant to interact with. Although I wouldn't mind if they didn't approach us too often either. While it's not the norm in North America, I appreciated the little detail of the sushi chefs greeting you when you arrive and thanking you when you leave.
