We had our wedding at Il Trappetello in May 2024 and it was everything we could have wished for! We are a British couple and would recommend using a planner to help with any language barriers, but everything was perfect on the weekend. Our 40 guests stayed in the 20 rooms which have been recently refurbished and are beautifully designed. There is AC too which is very welcome. I read a few reviews saying they are a bit small but neither us or our guests found that at all. There are loads of different spaces you can use which is great as each part of the wedding can be in a different space, including on the roof with lovely sea views. The location is amazing too, just 15 minutes from Monopoli, which was the perfect base for our guests. They cater in-house and the food was amazing - particularly aperitivo, with the calzone highly raved about! We had one complication with the main course whereby what was served was actually different to what we tasted - we had tasted and picked a beef fillet however we were served beef wellington. It was still delicious and I actually prefer beef wellington but just something to note. The wine and drinks choices were also great and very plentiful - we could even have espresso martinis at the party. Unfortunately we had rain on our wedding day but thankfully Il Trappetello has a lovely indoor space and the team managed to move everything around quickly and efficiently. We threw a pool party there the next day which was also great - the pool has plenty of sunbeds and lounge chairs. If you have the gelato cart, make sure you actually have the gelato cart! We asked for it at the pool party but unfortunately they didn't use the cart (I'm not sure why) and just served the gelato from a table - it's a really cute cart, so make sure that is all organised beforehand. However really no complaints and the whole team is lovely - thank you Katia and everyone at Trappetello for our perfect wedding weekend! Service: 5
