++ A Hidden Gem in Trastevere – Osteria il Botticelli Roma! Tucked away from the bustling streets of Trastevere, Osteria il Botticelli Roma captured my heart with its cozy ambiance and unforgettable culinary delights. The 'fiori di zucca' dish surpassed all expectations – truly spectacular and a must-try for anyone visiting. I'm already planning my return just for another taste of this culinary masterpiece. My second plate, a recommendation from the house, was a meatball – a choice I wouldn't typically make. However, it was a pleasant surprise and easily ranks as the second best meatball I've ever tasted, just behind Bistro Bestick in Stockholm. It's definitely worth a try! While I was tempted by the tantalizing pasta and seafood dishes I spotted at other tables, I'm not one to waste food nor am I sponsored by anyone, so I'll have to return to indulge in those delights another time. Osteria il Botticelli Roma is a true hidden gem, and I can't wait for my next visit to explore more of their delectable offerings.
