I recently visited this place and was absolutely blown away! The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, making the experience all the more enjoyable. The smoked beef brisket was the star of the show. It was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor—an absolute must-try. My mouth waters just thinking about it! The homemade chili was another hit. It’s made with all-beef and topped with a delightful mix of cheese, pico de gallo, scallions, and sour cream was great Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough. The combination of amazing service, mouth-watering dishes, and that unforgettable cornbread makes it a must-visit! I had high hopes for Horn Dawgs Ajax when I first ordered from here. The service was good, and the staff were attentive enough to notice and not charge me for a piece of burnt cornbread. However, my last two experiences have been nothing short of disappointing. Two weeks ago, I ordered the half rack of ribs, only to receive a serving that was completely burnt to a crisp. I couldn’t believe they’d serve something so overcooked to a paying customer. Hoping it was a one-off, I decided to give them another shot yesterday. Unfortunately, the quality was no better – the cornbread was cold like it came straight from the fridge, and the ribs were nowhere near the standard I expected. After these back-to-back issues, I’m done with this location. If you’re craving Horn Dawgs, the Pickering location is a much safer and more consistent option.
