My friends and I just returned from an incredible stay at VIN Hotel La Meridiana, and I cannot speak highly enough of this hidden gem in the heart of Tuscany. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had discovered something truly special. The views are nothing short of breathtaking – rolling hills covered in vineyards and olive groves, with those iconic Tuscan sunsets painting the sky each evening. We spent countless hours on the terrace, mesmerized by the stunning panorama while enjoying local wines. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the owner and his exceptional team. Their warmth, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail made us feel less like guests and more like welcomed friends. The owner personally shared stories about the region's history and recommended hidden local spots that weren't in any guidebook. The staff anticipated our every need with grace and always had a smile ready. The property itself is immaculate – beautifully restored with authentic Tuscan charm while offering modern comforts. Our rooms were spacious, elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The pool area provided the perfect respite during the afternoons, and the restaurant served some of the best regional cuisine. Sitting on a mountain top overlooking the lush hillside of Tuscany, this hotel is a great get away. From the arrival, the food and the great wine list, Starri and his team of lovely people do their best to make you feel at home. A special mention to the wine shop and list which is carefully curated by Starri himself. Great in depth knowledge about the wine world, vintages and different wines by him and his staff makes this an excellent place for the seasoned veteran wine drinkers but also for people who are looking for their first steps further in the wine world.
