We are a large family and have been customers at the Hatam restaurant for a long time, always placing orders around EUR 200 (invoice attached). However, several things happened today, which is why we won't be coming here anymore. So our table, which we had previously reserved, had no tablecloth and only the overcover, which meant that the food was partially on the table itself without a cover underneath. Furthermore, the lamb chop tasted strange today. After telling the waitress, she said that the meat should taste good and then put it on the grill again, but that didn't change the taste because the meat was poor. Ultimately, just before we left, my young children knocked over table settings (vase and salt shaker) because a cat on the next table caught their attention. We apologized promptly and paid EUR 30 without being asked for the damage, which wasn't even worth EUR 10, but the waitress was angry and had no understanding whatsoever, blamed us and our children and behaved even after we had done so Damages paid were more rude and accusatory than normal and than would be expected in a restaurant of such a standard. In addition, the restaurant is so small that the risk of breakage is higher than normal. Pleasant service is part of the restaurant experience, and at a restaurant that serves families, this type of damage is a contingency. Polite behavior is still the norm and is part of the hospitality industry, especially at a restaurant like this. We are very disappointed that we didn't find it here, and that's why we won't be coming here again in the future and can no longer recommend this restaurant.
