I dropped by Good Dogs Plant Foods and used a coupon from my plant based deals book to get some food for takeout. The lady serving me was extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered a Poutine and a Ball Park Dog. Wish I could say the Poutine was good but in all honesty, it really didn't make the grade. The gravy was so thick that I had to shake the container in order for the gravy to fall out and onto the fries. Also, regular poutine comes with cheese curds. This poutine came with cheese shreds that didn't melt so there was no ooey gooey factor. The Ball Park Dog on the other hand was incredible! Their dogs really are good! Well, the place is called Good Dogs Plant Foods so plant based hot dogs are their specialty. I stopped eating meat sometime in 2019 so it's been years since I've eaten a hot dog. This was my first time eating a plant based hot dog and I was super impressed with it. Even our picky eater tried it and loved it! The restaurant has such a funky design to it too. There are all sorts of whimsical items adorning the place, and they had TV monitors with some trippy patterns displayed on them. It looked like such a fun place to be and I would definitely like to dine in the next time we go to that restaurant.
