I was at Gaijin Izakaya for the umpteenth time. Once again, it was sensational. In my opinion one of, if not the, best restaurant in Zurich. Since the restaurant is usually full to the brim, it is a little louder and hectic, but you can still have a great time. The service is very committed, top. To eat. What do you want to say? Just great! We shared various tapas style dishes, everything was great. I can recommend the Brussels sprouts, chicken karaage, octopus, gyoza, etc. Everything is great. The only thing you could complain about is that the dishes come to the table staggered (which is actually great), so you always have something different to enjoy warm. We also ordered the broccoli, which was great but would have been even better in combination with the other dishes. Vegetarian options: The menu offers a large selection of vegetarian and fish options. Dietary restrictions: All intolerances and allergies are addressed and specifically asked about.
