Their maple sweet pork enchiladas was tasty and really hit the spot for lunch. Horchata tasted like I was drinking a churro - works well if you have a sweet tooth and enjoy cinnamon/vanilla! Costa Vida has my most favourite taco meal ever!!! Amazing house made tortillas! Staff is always super nice. As someone who has frequently visited both the Royal Oak and Macleod Trail locations, I would definitely say that Royal Oak has higher food quality and they are a bit more generous with portions. Even though I moved to the south, I do go out of my way to the Royal Oak store sometimes for these reasons. Additionally, I have to say I believe the company recently changed ownership and they are very bad at digital visuals. The menu boards are quite ugly and hard to follow and they used to be so nice! Not sure who made this choice. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

Hi Meagan. Thanks for the review. Ownership has not changed, we simply rebranded to reflect the fact we are a Canadian owned and operated company. I designed the menus personally. I am the District Manager and by no means do I confess to be a graphic designer. I will take your feedback into consideration regarding the ugliness of the menus.
