They were giving out champagne samples in the lobby outside of the restaurant What I noticed was the lady only offered champagne to white people I saw both Asian and black people walk by who were completely ignored like they didn't exist But the moment a white person walked by even if they were far away, they were waved down and ask to come try champagne Super racist

Stayed at the Omni King Edward Hotel for a week in January 2026 and spent several evenings at the Consort Bar. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and very inviting. We were served by Marijana and Valentina at different times during our stay, and I was very happy with the service from both. The bartenders, Akil and Dora, were also excellent—skilled, friendly, and added great energy to the bar. We were lucky to be there when the new menu launched, and every dish we tried was amazing. The Short Ribs were incredible, and the pasta with wild mushrooms, crunchy chickpeas, and burrata was delicious. Even the Grilled Cheese with tomato soup was a standout comfort dish. The biggest surprise was the Brie wrapped in phyllo pastry—so good I forgot to take a picture before eating half of it. Jeff, the manager and sommelier, recommended pairing the Brie with champagne, and he was absolutely right. Thank you, Jeff. Huge congratulations to Sous Chef Daniel for creating such a fantastic menu. We can’t wait to come back and try more. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
