This is my second experience here and sadly probably my last. We arrived late last night and were told that it was a long wait. That's fine it's a busy night for everyone but because we were here before knew it was worth the wait. We waited and waited. We waited as everyone that arrived after us were served and left. We waited patiently out of hunger limited options and knowing that ordering one of their gluten free meals may take a bit longer. We weren't offered the bare minimum of the courtesy of water. We couldn't even find our server to ask they vanished once we placed our initial order. The restaurant at this point did clear and became much quieter. It was only when we were first seated it was busy for about ten minutes wrapping up a large group. I'm not sure who the kitchen or waiter thought they were fooling when they served both myself and my date the same dish. Two very lukewarm saucy bland chicken dishes served on pie plates. Two dishes that were the same and neither were the order we made besides the toppings we had asked for with added carrots. We were both starved after our hour wait quickly ate and left. I took a risk as someone that has actual diagnosed Gluten sensitivity issues eating what I could only hope wouldn't cause me to be sick later. Luckily I am ok so they at least had the decency to serve me gluten free whatever I ate. The server finally came back to ask how our meal was after we finished. I thanked her for service only because maybe she didn't even realize what the kitchen had done. I have to wonder this though how the waiter could not tell that they gave us the same meal x2. She even made a point to use a seperate ordering system because it was for two gluten free meals. We both heard her repeat back our orders. At this point I'm just exhausted from walking for hours for Nuit Blanche. The idea of confrontation at 1am is a bit much. Based on what we ate they didn't care anyway. We paid and left disappointed that the kitchen either got lazy or just didn't give a damn what they served us. It's unfortunate because the first time we went here the food was great and actually looked and tasted like what we had ordered. Both were very far off and were nothing like we had ordered besides the choice of toppings. If you are a celiac or have Gluten allergies stay as far away from here as possible. It's not worth the risk. I took that risk out of being stupidly hungry very late at night. Don't be like me. While the possibilities the restaurant may have had an off night, run out of supplies or just have an insufficient staff. Whatever the reason jeopardizing others health is poor service.
