It's a classy hotel but not not a typical 4 star for Germany...and overpriced. service and staff are great and hotel is very Central. The rooms are dated would be nice if they updated the rooms and keep a vintage style. Very hard to find a hotel with a bathtub in washroom. the room we booked luckily had a bathtub which was wonderful to relax in. Bathroom is nicely renovated but the door to access the bathroom is really hard to open and are very narrow. To fill up the bath tub you need to step In to the tub to turn on the water on because the glass wall is in the way. The Beds are ok. Pillows are too soft. But they were nice to bring up a firm pillow. tv is small no movies or pay per view tv..to select a different language. Free mini bar. Room Cleaning was good . Restaurant was good but don't order the Veal..very chewy. Room service restaurant menu on has only 5 or six items to choose from. Cafe and restaurant are beautiful. All in all was just nice to soak in a bathtub and nice friendly service and to be very Central to the shopping. If you are looking for modern rooms this is not the hotel you.
