Unfortunately I have to say that the breakfast (which is highly touted) is nothing special. At €25 per person it is overpriced. There is nothing special and just a hot drink. Excellent service, delicious cake and a great view of Ernst-August-Platz from the 2nd floor. We'll definitely be back! Also to try the famous afternoon tea. One of the best cake shops in Hannover. We only stumbled upon the Café Centrale by accident while staying at the Central Hotel Kaiserhof but we were extremely delighted by the wide variety of cakes they offer and the quality of the baked goods. The cakes tasted wonderful and seemed fresh and homemade, not just unfrozen industrially produced cakes that you might find in other places. The prices were fair as well.
