What a hidden gem! Visiting from Kamloops British Columbia, looking for a "steak place" on the interweb.. found this 5 star fine dining experience, That is beyond exceptional. It has a 3 zone vibe dining room lounge and bar. Very nicely decorated, lighting is perfect comfortable booths. Very attractive and knowledgeable servers. Menu is clear, And brief! Makes it simple to choose. Meals were on pointe! Deserts perfect especially the in house cheesecake. The wine list was the most attractive, eclectic and well beyond the norms. Some very rare choices, and we'll priced for the amount in stock. Overall 10 dining experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really wanted to give a better rating because the service was exceptional. But it was the steak that was the dealbreaker. Oysters: 5 star Ravioli: 5 star Calamari: 3 Star very average Ribeye Steak: 1 Star the taste was terrible I couldn’t take more than 1 bite The steak had such a strange taste that we have never tasted before, almost like the cut of meat was old, and I’m not saying that it was, but I couldn’t take more than one bite and couldn’t even swallow it. It was ordered as medium rare. This is my honest review, as someone who dines out weekly at steak restaurants. Ask for the Decor, it’s very clean, but a little bit dated and comparison to other current steakhouse restaurants. The presentation of the food is very nice. The service was exceptional. I forgot the waiter‘s name, but he was an Egyptian gentleman. Price per person: CA$70–80 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Celebrating our one-year anniversary at Cagney's Steakhouse & Winebar was truly memorable, thanks to Mario and the wonderful staff. From the moment we arrived, Mario greeted us with warmth and made our night feel incredibly special. He recommended the perfect dishes, including a standout New York strip steak that was cooked to perfection. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the service was remarkably attentive, adding to the cozy and inviting ambiance of our evening. The cheesecake was a delightful conclusion to our celebration. We highly recommend Cagney’s for making special occasions unforgettable. We'll definitely return!
