What a great spot! Warm and welcoming atmosphere, our server was very helpful and fun and the food was delicious! I had the stew, and it was the best meal I’ve had in Switzerland so far! It’s a traditional dish with pork and mushrooms seasoned perfectly with fresh herbs. My husband had the pork sausage which was also excellent. I’m so glad we stumbled upon this place! I am not exaggerating when I say this one was one of the best meals I have ever had. We were in Europe for 2 weeks. We started and ended in Zurich. It was so good the first time we had to come back to end our trip. The waitress was amazing and made us feel so welcome. helped us find the English menu and recommended an awesome local beer. The Cordon Blue is crazy. damn near had an out of body experience. If you are in Zurich and looking for a fun local dinner spot there is literally no other restaurant I could recommend higher. Make a reservation if you want to guarantee a seat as it is a small location. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are clearly labeled and also awesome. My wife tried both options and spoke very highly of both! Again, literally no reason not to try this restaurant.

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel which was across the street. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The local beer was great and we had a nice Swiss wine. We tried the schnitzel, stew and some of the sausage. All were very tasty and big portions. It was a little expensive but for a traditional meal in a friendly setting it was great.
