In one month I returned 7 purchases (including flowers) that were near or already rotting and/or stale. The manager is miserable and uninterested in complaints. Cashiers are lovely but will agree that they are not happy at work.
There are rarely new products and those that are, are obscenely over priced. Produce - even the ones on the 50% off cart are rock hard or rotting. Most of their plastics are non recyclable and I doubt if they recycle at all.
I live nearby and it’s extremely convenient but I catch myself cursing when I do go there. There is a large homeless population in the area that is part of our community but they are
followed and harassed if they dare to enter the store. No wonder people - poor or not - are stealing food. The store could be a community hub where workers and customers are happy to see and support each other. That was certainly the case when the manager before Maisie was in charge. Oh yes - there is no hand sanitizer at the main entrance and there has not been for months. Try to boycott this store as much as is possible. There is a Longo’s, No Frills, and a Chinese market in the area.
