We made reservations and seated around 8:15pm. We were not even acknowledged by the one poor server upstairs for 25 mins. Finally I flagged him and he said “I’ll be back” came back after 10 mins and poured water. We ordered right away. Ordered drinks, tacos, croquettes, wagyu tartare and the fish in main course with patata bravas. Croquettes were PHENOMENAL. Fried mushroom - very good and different wagyu was amazing. Tacos - never received them. Patata bravas - replaced by some nasty frites without any communication. Fish - bland and burnt I had heard so much about this place that I made a whole date night out of it but BOY was I disappointed. The place is LOUD, understaffed and the food should have shone through but because of missed orders and burnt $60 fish, I had a negative experience. I will never come back and don’t believe everything you see on TikTok. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $80–90

Bar Reyna is such a gem in Yorkville! The Mediterranean-inspired small plates are perfect for sharing and the crispy octopus and manchego croquettes were standouts. The cocktails are creative and well-balanced, and Samantha made the experience even better with her friendly, welcoming service. Cozy yet chic vibes, especially on the back patio, making it perfect for date night or drinks with friends. Def coming back soon!
