We have been clients of the Baba Marta restaurant for a long time, when it was still on Gogolevsky Boulevard and were saddened that it closed. Imagine our joy when we discovered it on Arbat, 9, literally 300 meters from the house. Therefore, there was no doubt where we would celebrate our birthdays with our grandson (we have them at intervals of 4 days), of course, in this restaurant. It was very convenient to reserve tables and discuss and order dishes over the phone. Manager Olga is a professional in her field, she advised which dishes were best to order for our group and in what quantity, sometimes even holding me back regarding the number of dishes. Having learned that we were going on my birthday, she made a note about a 20% discount. At the appointed time we arrived at the already set table. Everything looked appetizing, the portions were large, the waitress Anastasia was very kind and responded quickly to our requests. The restaurant's cuisine was familiar to us for a long time and we were glad that the bar was not lowered; on the contrary, new dishes appeared on the menu. We liked the puff pastries with spinach and cheese and with meat and mushrooms. In general, all the dishes were delicious, prepared according to national Bulgarian recipes. It's nice when expectations match reality. A small corporate banquet was held in "Baba Marta". The first acquaintance took place when choosing a location inside the restaurant, where the manager Olga was of great help by suggesting the pros and cons of this or that seating arrangement, and in the formation of the menu I would like to express my gratitude to the administrator Olga for recommendations in choosing dishes and drinks. On the day of the event, everything was on time and beautifully served, the cuisine was on top (it seemed that in Bulgaria itself they didn’t eat so tasty)), and the meeting was held in an atmosphere of comfort and wonderful rest. Impeccable service - thanks to Valentina for her tact, attentiveness and anticipation of the wishes of the guests. The evening was a success and we are very glad that we spent it here. Summing up: the location is a street sung in verse; interior - without golden chic, but cozy in the Bulgarian style; food and drink - beyond praise; prices - I hope they will remain so; restaurant team - once again, a sincere THANK YOU!!!
