Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice on the phone as I ordered takeout. Was well priced compared to the portion size.I had the lamb shank over basmati. Which came with a pickle onion salad. The lamb was cooked perfectly tender and the sauce that it is braised in was as colourful as it was tasty. The basmati was cooked expertly to a perfect fluffy tenderness.The chicken kabob was juicy and very flavorful. The koobideh kabobs were seasoned and cooked to perfection.Also ordered were a side of aalo and Gobi, a dish of roasted garlic potatoes and stewed cauliflower. As well as a side of ghormeh Sabzi, a dish of stewed spinich kidney beans carrot and chopped veg.I also recommend a couple of their garlic sauce and, the aptly named, magic sauce.I would highly recommend Ariyana Middle Eastern Food over on the corner of George and Hunter in Peterborough. This is going to be added to the go to list of take out places. Excellent authentic middle eastern food!!
