1. We called 1 week in advance to make our reservation, for a special evening, with a table, not by the kitchen. When we got there, the best 2 tables were taken by walk in customers, so why make reservations? So, we were told, they didn't expect to see that much traffic, Amanda did move us to another table, quiet, no, we over heard the kitchen staff speaking about " this shit". Amanda did move us to another table that had finished their meal. 45 minutes after arriving, we got our salad, and escargot served at the same time. Maybe, it was our fault for not specifying they be separate.
The "signature" dish, we were told by the head chef, when we made our reservation, was made fresh daily. The menu advertises paella, with shrimp, calamari, clams, mussels, chicken, chorizo sausage, and saffron rice. What we ate was rice, not bad, no calamari, no mussels, no clams, extra shrimp, not fresh, 2 pieces of scallops, and some chicken. A nice stir fry, for $78.00. We complained, but our server told us it's out of his hands, however, he did apologize for not informing us upon ordering the calamari, mussels and clams didn't arrive this week.
The service was average, the food disappointing according to the advertisement, not what was expected of a fine food establishment.

Awesome food. Great service by Amanda herself. It was so nice to have dinner with something so missing in most dining experiences. Great (not annoying) background music! Comfortable talking volume. Even some of my favourite blues. Thats really rare. Ok the chocolate cake. Wow!! To die for. Two of us couldn’t finish it so I had the rest for lunch today! Mmmmmm. yummy. The best and Im a certified expert on all things chocolate. Happily greeted by Amanda at the door. From there things just got better. Service was prompt and very friendly and the meal was beyond excellent. I had the pasta my friend had the pork belly and roasted squash risotto. Both were astonishingly good. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
