the food was delicious. My family of four walked in without a reservation and the staff was nice enough to give us a table despite it being super busy. I think they saw the desperate look on my face and took pity:) My family and I were soooo happy with the food. It was delicious and the drinks were equally delicious. An Chay in Zurich is a true gem for lovers of meatless cuisine. As the first Vietnamese kitchen in Zurich to completely avoid meat, it offers a unique culinary experience. Despite its small size, the restaurant is very inviting. The friendly team welcomes you when you arrive and shows you to your table. The menu is accessible digitally, either by scanning a QR code or by visiting their website, making ordering a seamless process. We chose the Spicy Papaya Salad, Pho Chay and their most famous dish, the "Banh Mi MVP". Each dish was filled with vegan ingredients like seitan, shredded tofu, mushrooms and lots of pickled vegetables. The portions were generous and the flavors were outstanding. The service was very friendly and attentive from the start, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, An Chay is a small but fine restaurant that I can warmly recommend.
