I went an evening with friends and needless to say despite being a busy night we were served horrible food and service was confusing. I ordered a bread which came burnt and the table tasted it and confirmed it was. The manager arrived and instead of speaking of the actual taste of the food I was told in a condescending tone that I must just understand that’s how it’s made because I never ate it. Pretty sure there are many people who have come before and ordered something they have never tried but theres difference between oven baked and BURNT food. The manager refused to remove it from my bill and I paid for burnt food. We almost couldn’t find our waiter and had different people check on us but not once a manager. The manager never felt understanding when he did arrive and the presentation of the food was poor. Another guest at our table, food was presented poorly and tasted weird. The prices are ridiculous for their small portions. A small bowl of Purée ranges from 60-80 and it’s smaller than a saucer. I would rather suggest Saray as they are cheaper prices for bigger and better quality food , have better management and always has a manager checking if everything is okay. I would never suggest Ala Turkish again.

Great experience, perfect ambiance,excellent service from the time we entered, it was very busy, but it was a decent time of wait. The food was good, and the portions were huge. Will definitely recommend good turkish food. They don’t take bookings in December. Have no strategy in place for a waiting system with Covid. Manager is a joke. Last time I eat there.
