I had the pleasure of dining at this authentic Turkish restaurant a few times & I am impressed at how consistent they are. From accommodating us on short notice, friendly & efficient service & competitive pricing to most importantly, DELICIOUS food, I will definitely be back when in Cape Town. We were a party of 3 & had the hummus & a brinjal/tomato concoction to start. Then the sizzling lamb chops & chicken thighs which were bursting with flavor & cooked perfectly. The accompaniments were also delicious, rice with pine nuts, red onion salad, thick cut chips & various breads. Sadly no dessert as we were too full! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Saray restaurant is located in V&A waterfront behind the red tower, close enough to the water. The service is pretty fast and efficient. And the staff is friendly. The place is pretty spacious with indoor and outdoor area. The decoration is very vivid and colorful. They offer shisha hookah with many flavors. The corba soup was not that tasty, but humus was tasty and falafel too. Pot vegetables and bread were pretty good. It’s a bit pricey restaurant cause of the location and 10% tip is kind of being forced to you but it was ok with us as usually we leave that tip. Overall recommend it!
