Had a great time at Afrobeat Kitchen today! I ordered the Party Jollof Rice, and shared the fried plantain starter! I personally wasn’t a fan of the jollof rice (Too smokey for my taste), but the flavours were bold and the beef was beyond tender! It’s also HALAL. The tostones starter were AMAZING, especially the sauce. Please get it! Service was very friendly and warm. Portions were generous, and the vibe/ music made me feel at home, honestly. I would definitely visit again and try some different options. Thank you! Today I discovered one of my favourite bites in the city with the kelewele tostones! If you love fried plantain, you have to give these spiced plantains a try. I also tried the efo riro, I believe, and that was also great! Next time, I would just order the spiciest possible version, because I ordered regular spice and it just wasn't enough for me. Service was excellent overall and I would come back to try out more of the menu and the patio they seem to have open in the summer. :) Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian friendly options and vegan friendly options.
