In general, our family eats out quite often and has developed both a list of favorites and conscious places not to set foot in. Restaurant SierŠtelle Studio was our choice during these holidays. It was another evening when we wanted to sit with family and a couple of friends, somewhere On holidays in Ogre, it is difficult to find a place in a restaurant or cafe, but this only applies to one part of Ogre. The particular restaurant is located on the highway side of the railway and it is a quiet, empty part of Ogre. When we entered the restaurant, we were the only customers. Apart from a young man in a hoodie and with a hood on his head, who was packing/arranging something on a couple of tables, we didn't see any other people. In the end, we realized that this man is also an employee, but the hoodie and hood were a little confusing. BUT let's not be prejudiced and remember that this restaurant calls itself a Wine Studio and a place to eat exquisite food. When entering the restaurant premises, I understand that, in principle, nothing much has changed in the interior, although the booths that used to be there have been demolished, and the walls have been painted lighter. The general interior is uninteresting and I would say - kept in a style that is about 20 years old. Of course, after waiting for an exquisite food and wine studio, you expect something special, not solid wood chairs, which are very similar to the chairs that were there when I started living in Ogre and the yellowed air conditioner on the wall. The bar counter has hardly changed either, and if you remember it from a 10-year-old visit to Ogre, it is still there and the same. That's probably not a bad thing at all - those are associations I (personally) don't like. The waitress was kind. Really! But if you judge the place as a (repeated) wine studio where you can enjoy exquisite dishes, then not a professional. We were asked several times about the ordered dishes, when the food was brought, they forgot who ordered which dish, and after we had eaten, the dirty dishes remained on the table for another ten minutes. To be fair, when the food was brought to us, another family had come to eat. In general, there would be no complaints about all this, if the price category was not on par with other, more expensive places in Ogre, as well as the ambitious title on the Instagram account. The food itself was of high quality, cooked perfectly. Slow cooked pork calls for more toppings, but the grilled chop was a good portion, well done, tender. The only downside to the chop is the temperature. It was too low for freshly served meat. But here I am already digging into the details, because I understand that it was prepared in such a way that everything was brought at the same time. Restaurant SierŠtelle Studio in Ogre Continuing the theme of the same ambitious title on the Instagram account, I want something to say about the "wine studio" ...how to put it more simply ... wine is only the bottom shelves. And what surprised me is that this is probably the only cafe that does not have Primitivo, which can also be found at the cheap end. I understand that the cafes will not have wines from my collection, but still, going to a place that calls itself a wine studio... I would like to try something interesting. There are cafes in Ogre with a better selection of alcohol and wine, but they are not called a wine studio. I will tell you about who these cafes are another time, because I feel that I MUST write about the wines. Summary of Restaurant SierŠtelle Studio, I will say this - the place is not bad and it has potential. If there is an interest and a desire to compete with the best places in Ogre, then there is room to work. I would definitely think about upgrading the interior, but that's secondary. Primarily - I would like to see a good and sufficient selection of wine in the wine studio, and I would also like something more from the food, if we are talking about "refined". Otherwise, the waitress was very kind, the food was tasty (but not surprising), and of high quality.
