I recently visited this restaurant for my girlfriend’s birthday, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. She was in the mood for oysters, so when we walked in, I asked if they had any available. Instead of a simple “no,” the response from the hostess was unnecessarily condescending: “Oysters don’t grow in Arosa, what do you expect” I was well aware of that fact, and a straightforward answer would have sufficed. The dismissive tone really dampened the mood, especially on a special occasion like a birthday. I understand that certain items may not be on the menu, but there’s no need for a snarky response. A little more professionalism and warmth in customer service would go a long way. Hopefully, this was just an off moment, but it’s hard to recommend the place based on our experience. Dear Nikolaj, We greeted you and your girlfriend warmly in the lobby and asked how we could help you. In response to your request for oysters, the hostess simply said that the SHARE restaurant mainly offers local produce and therefore does not serve oysters, as these can only be found by the sea. The statement was in no way meant to be dismissive or patronising. If this is the case, we would of course like to apologise. It merely served to explain the concept. Your Share Team
