After reading all the positive reviews, I knew I had to go to try the food for myself and I can only say everything was absolutely scrumptious! Although the restaurant appears to be vegetarian only, it also offers a good selection of meat options. The food was carefully prepared by the owner who is very lovely and went above and beyond to offer great advice about what food to choose and how to combine it to get the most of the flavours. My companion and I tried a combination of cold and warm mezzes which tasted heavenly!!!!! We finished the meal by having some lovely mint tea accompanied by some yummy home-made fig biscuits prepared by the owner's wife. With enough parking available and a bus stop located outside the restaurant, this place is easily accessible either by car or public transport. I would give it more stars if I could. In the meantime, I can't wait to continue visiting M Falafel to enjoy the delicious and reasonably priced menu of which, in my opinion, is one of the best restaurants in Hasselt. Give it a go.
