We had a wonderful evening at el GReCo. Great atmosphere, very attentive and friendly people. The food was very, very tasty. What is also extremely positive is that there are a lot of vegetarian dishes, which we have rarely seen in a Greek restaurant. If we are in Hanover again we will definitely come back. Thank you. We were at El Greco for the first time yesterday and were very satisfied. The service was very friendly without being intrusive. We liked the food excellently, it was beautifully presented on the plates and the portions were generous. We felt very comfortable and would like to come back. Our repeated visit to “El Greco” coincided with the Christmas sit-ins. What sets this Greek restaurant apart is its exceptional hospitality and warmth. **Service:** Despite initial space problems, the staff made an exemplary effort to look after us, which was rewarded with an ouzo and a space quickly created. The service was consistently excellent and had an almost family-like feel. **Eat:** I chose a classic platter with gyros, suzuki, suflaki, lots of onions, tzatziki, red sauce and excellently seasoned vegetables. A special feature here is the option to choose vegetables instead of rice and chips, although the homemade chips are also delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly – tender and flavorful. There was also bread and access to the salad buffet, which is particularly notable for its garlic dressing. The dishes with Metaxa sauce are also recommended. **Price-performance:** Considering the amount of meat and the quality of the food, the price-performance ratio is very good. At the end there was Greek yogurt and another ouzo on the house. **Conclusion:** For me, “El Greco” is one of the best restaurants in Hanover. The food, service and ambience are perfect here. A must for lovers of Greek cuisine and for everyone who values a warm atmosphere.
