I’ve tried so many restaurants in Iceland, and Berg was by far the best! The waiters were very attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The beef tataki was exquisite, the rib eye was cooked medium rare to perfection, and the arctic char was incredible. To top it off, their cheesecake brûlée was so good we had to order seconds. I honestly feel like a 4.4 rating is so unfair, this place deserves 10/5. The breakfast is also amazing if you’re staying in the hotel, you have to try it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This review is strictly about the restaurant and not the hotel. The hotel looked really charming and had a unique ambience. Berg restaurant can be skipped in my opinion Unless you are staying in the hotel and have no other options I suggest choosing another dining experience. The food looked beautiful but the scallops were undercooked and the fish of the day was meh but at least it was cooked. There was one attentive service team member that shined and was very friendly. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
