A hotel that has its charm German. has lost and is in need of renovation in many places. In the cooler season you should avoid staying overnight, as massively leaky windows and low heating do not make you feel comfortable. You know the size of the rooms when booking, but the bathroom is also only a mini version and therefore borderline. When we booked the suite, we were hoping for good conditions, but there was no indication that this room was in the annex building, which meant that I had significant additional problems with walking difficulties, as the only way there was a narrow, steep, round staircase to the room. Something like that has to be communicated. The components of the breakfast are good and sufficient, but the baked goods can only be eaten on the bakery's opening days. It is recommended to order tea, as coffee lacks its taste. As the first house on the site we have dtl. expected more. The 80s are alive and those who love them are in the right place. It's a shame because we were also looking for somewhere where we could spend the night more often because Meldorf will be a frequent destination. **THE ROOM WALLS ARE PAPER THIN** Nice establishment with very friendly service. Unfortunately, in my room, which was right next to the stairs, I could hear a television or something similar underneath me and there was snoring next to me. I was booked as a DJ for a wedding reception at the Hotel zur Linde on July 1st, 2023. A very nice operator and a super competent team make a really good mix where you can literally see how much fun the team has with their work/customers.
